Essenti - Cabinets System Fatpack

The Essenti Cabinets are DECOR only and contain no animations.  Additional add-ons with animations are in the pipeline and should have the same foot print as these in the pack so that they can easily be swapped out for something more exciting later as they become available.  There are over 50 cabinets, shelves and additional counter tops sizes for extending the set.  See list below.   The Esssenti Cabinets are designed to help you achieve organized perfection without breaking the bank. It will be perfectly at home in your office, laundry room, bathroom, or kitchen, even your bedroom or garage.

This system uses a new texture HUD which will allow us to release additional texture packs for the set in the woods of Port Royal, Chateau, and Mode so watch for those in early 2023.  The HUD is quite different from other color change items at DICTATORSHOP, so please be sure to read the instructions below for details of how it works.

Essenti is a new range for DICTATORSHOP, with the aim of providing useful, go-anywhere pieces that will play nicely with all of your other DICTATORSHOP items. The idea is to be calmly unobtrusive, low land impact and versatile. If you've been itching for a fitted kitchen, or a whole wall of wardrobes, now you can have one! 

So, cabinets, what kind of cabinets? So many cabinets! A full list can be found later on. They all snap together very nicely and align beautifully, which is just as well because that was the plan! Also... this is the super exciting bit, in a departure from the usual texture change method, we are introducing a HUD! No more endless clicking of every piece to get the colour you want, simply wear the HUD and change the whole room at once! Magic, huh?

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF THE NEW TEXTURE HUD SYSTEM

The included HUD works on all pieces in the Essenti line.  Once you click to apply a texture change, please wait until you see Texture Set Applied appear in your local chat.  Clicking too quickly can result in zebra furniture where some has not changed and some has.  In laggy sims this may take a minute so please be patient.

There is a script called "_ActionColor::Plugin::Furniture 1.5" in each of the pieces in the box so that you are able to change the colors right out of the box.  Only one copy of the script is needed for any given linkset, so if you link items, the extra script(s) that are not in the root prim of the linked pieces will automatically remove itself.  This way multiple scripts are not trying to update everything and it reduces lag.  Linking the pieces once you have them in place can also reduce the total land impact of your items.  There is a copy of this script in the original package in a backup prim, in case you need it. 

Since you have a copy of the script you can safely remove the it once you have things how you want them to save sim resources.  You can also do it if you do not want a linkset to change while you are adjusting other items.  Simply remove or stop the script and that item/linkset will not be affected by the HUD until you return the script into the item or start the script again.  DO NOT CHANGE THE DESCRIPTION FIELDS, the texid=name is require for the HUD to operate.

This set is carefully sized so that you can align everything to the back and bottom for a perfect fit.  The wall cabinets can align to the top of the tall cabinets or fridge to make for perfect height adjustments.  If you are unfamiliar with how the align tool works there is a short tutorial on how to use the Firestorm alignment tool here:  https://youtu.be/uqxxeb5TvAk?t=169

USE:

The table features individual sits for hanging out, dining and drinking.  All four sitters can choose their own activities without affecting the others.  There are couples animations where the female moves to the male's chair.  For the couples animations she needs to choose female from the menu upon sitting and he chooses male, the third and fourth sitter choose those seats and are only given individual menus that do not affect the other sitters.

DINING - the dining menu puts silverware in your hand, the drinking will give you a choice of beverages.  Click the placemat to get the menu for rezzing food options.  This allows different sitters to choose different dishes easily.  It also allows the host to rez the place sittings without anyone sitting at the table.  The texture menu allows you to hide the placemats but they are still there and can be clicked visible or not.

[Ds] Frosted - Animated Snowman and Wearable

This cute snowman is animated with the new Action Engine by Lillani Lowell.  It has 11 snowman poses in it (no avatar animations) that will cycle through automatically every minute or two.  If someone bumps the snowman he falls over and then rights himself 1-2 mins later and resumes the various poses he does.  You CAN resize the whole snowman and the scripts inside will make sure that that will not break the animations.  

The package also includes a wearable top hat with the snowman on top.  If you collide with someone (or them with you) your hat snowman will tip over the same as your rezzable snowman and then resume the 11 poses  inside.  With the top hat you can edit linked prim and change the size of the hat only if you need to adjust the fit.
